I used Ranger Alcohol inks on the entire project, and if there's one thing you should know about alcohol inks, they are quite a bright coloring medium. And as long as you don't store this beauty in direct sunlight, they will remain quite bright.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eSpecifics:\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBottom layer: 12x16\" hard canvas panel, coated in black matte gesso, embossed with stamps, embossing ink, and black embossing powder. \u003cbr\u003eSecond layer: white card stock stamped with black ink and heavily distressed and torn. Third layer: Yupo alcohol ink paper covered in a rainbow of Ranger alcohol inks and placed on several sheets of white card stock to give it a sturdy lift. \u003cbr\u003eFinal layer consists of resin pieces coated in black or white gesso and colored with the alcohol inks to match whichever part of the rainbow they were currently lost in. Matching Sparkle Spots, flat-back pearls, and round pearls are hidden amongst the central piece. \u003cbr\u003eTop coating: Finnabair Metallique Pearl Wax. Bright and cheerful and not quite \"steampunk\" in its tones while still being beautifully \"steampunked!\" with the mechanical gears and other pieces. Hangs from attached B\u0026amp;W ribbon laced through the top.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll items were adhered using a matte medium gel, gesso, and Bearly Art Precisoin Craft Glue to assure that nothing comes apart. I handcraft nearly every piece that goes into my art. The resin pieces are the simplest things I create because the amazing moulds do most of the work for me. But other items found on each of my pieces is completely designed and meticulously put together by me. While there are a lot of fantastically beautiful options out there, I don't buy many pre-made embellishments because I want my art to be unique and entirely MY design. So if the prices seem higher on some pieces and lower on others, it has everything to do with the time spent creating each individual embellishment used on those pieces.
