Mini Rose Bouquet from the Sugar-Coated Holiday Suite Mini Mixed Media Art Piece

What is it? Mixed-media art.

Handmade mixed media piece, part of my holiday suite  entitled Sugar-Coated Holiday Suite. This one is called Mini Rose Bouquet.

Specifics:

Created by cutting 4 inch strips from a 12"x16" canvas board. I adhered scrapbook paper onto both sides. Items used: resin scroll on bottom most layer, faux pine branches frosted in white acrylic and glitter, wooden ornament base covered in Holiday scrapbook paper, candies made from paper die cuts and colored with alcohol inks, tiny peppermint pieces from shaker bits by Trinity Stamps, texture paste and stencils, white pine springs made from card stock die cuts and clear glitter and Glossy Accents; various sizes of white shimmery glitter chunks, fine glitter, silk flowers, various colors and sizes of pearls, faux snow,  matte medium, Metallique Wax in White Pearl, red floral berries, and wire-edged green ribbon.

All items were adhered using a matte medium gel, gesso, and Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue, and hot glue to assure that nothing comes apart. Made to hang on wall from ribbon attached to top.

My prices may seem inconsistent, but every item is priced according to the amount of time I spend creating them as well as the supplies used. I handcraft nearly every piece that goes into my art. The resin pieces are the simplest things I create because the amazing moulds do most of the work for me. But other items found on each of my pieces is completely designed and meticulously put together by me. While there are a lot of fantastically beautiful options out there, I don't buy many pre-made embellishments because I want my art to be unique and entirely MY design. So if the prices seem higher on some pieces and lower on others, it has everything to do with the time spent creating each individual embellishment used on those pieces. I solemnly pour my heart and soul into everything I make. And I truly hope that shows in my attention to every single detail and quality of my products.
