Shabby Chic "Love" Greeting Card, Mixed Media

 What is it? An artistic greeting card

Handmade mixed media greeting card that also serves as an artsy display. This is a single 5x7" card and will come with its own decorative box.

Specifics:

This card has a vintage yet Shabby Chic feel. The top half of the background was created with shiny black card stock and an embossing folder. The bottom half came from a very old scrapbook paper pack I had in my stash. Whole piece contains leaf die cuts made from shimmery pink and shiny black card stocks, handmade foam flowers, and smaller sprigs of the shiny black card stock, plus pearls in various shades of cream. At the bottom left corner there is a simple cursive "love" greeting. The leaves are elevated on black dimensional foam tape as are a couple other pieces, giving this card a good amount of dimension. There is light stamping on the interior, with a sentiment that reads: You're forever in my heart. And there is also space for writing your own message to the recipient.

Card comes with its own storage box. Box is slightly larger than 5x7" and  is .75" deep. Due to the nature of the layers, the thickness of the center, and the pearls, if you choose to mail this out to someone, I highly recommend putting it in a bubble mailer, otherwise the pearls could get broken in the post office rollers, and the card may get smashed. The box is not designed for mailing by itself. It contains 2 layers of paper but it could get destroyed if mailing without bubble mailer.

All items were adhered using a matte medium gel and Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to assure that nothing comes apart.

My prices may seem inconsistent, but every item is priced according to the amount of time I spend creating them as well as the supplies used. I handcraft nearly every piece that goes into my art. The resin pieces are the simplest things I create because the amazing moulds do most of the work for me. But other items found on each of my pieces is completely designed and meticulously put together by me. While there are a lot of fantastically beautiful options out there, I don't buy many pre-made embellishments because I want my art to be unique and entirely MY design. So if the prices seem higher on some pieces and lower on others, it has everything to do with the time spent creating each individual embellishment used on those pieces. I solemnly pour my heart and soul into everything I make. And I truly hope that shows in my attention to every single detail and quality of my products.
